Problem solver by day, builder by night
Twelve years in, still most interested in the part of the app that other people would rather not touch.
How I got here
I studied Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Málaga, and my favourite classes were always the ones that let me build something out of thin air. My Master's thesis was a heart rate monitor system over Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, graded with honours. That was the point where software won.
Since then I have spent twelve years building and shipping production software, nine of them in React Native, delivering commercial products to the App Store and Google Play. That includes the native Android and iOS work in Kotlin, Java, Swift and Objective-C, for when the bridge was not enough.
The common thread is the hard part: performance, animation and architecture. Auditing a codebase that has slowed to a crawl, replacing a navigation layer without the users noticing, taking a stalled New Architecture migration over the line. Lately I have been building agentic engineering tooling: Figma-to-code pipelines and closed-loop QA agents that drive real simulators.
Teaching is the other half. I love breaking complex topics into pieces simple enough that my grandma would follow them, which is how I ended up authoring three of Meta's official Coursera courses and speaking at conferences across Europe.
Along the way I have bootstrapped my own products (Rundy, Photora, Wondrgo), authored open source libraries with 5K+ stars collectively, led teams and mentored colleagues. Today I am based in Madrid.
